Hello everybody! I just wanted to thank every one of you who have favorited and commented on my work, along with all of my followers. I wish I had the time to go through and personally reply to you all. You have truly encouraged me.

I have been looking at the daily deviation bar at the bottom of the page for over two years now, thinking to myself "I cannot wait until I am at the point where I can compare with some of these people." I even had a small hope that I may be part of that elite some day in the distant future. On the 18th of October, that hope became a reality! I never could have imagined it happening so soon, it's all just so surreal.

I also never could have imagined getting the recognition of the masterful art team that helped design Gears of War, but it seems God has blessed me with that opportunity as well. I'm so thankful for all of this and would like to express my gratitude to everyone involved in the contest. I obviously wouldn't have made it anywhere without ya'll.

I look forward to hearing from all of you as I continue along this strange path that's been put in front of me!

I must share this with anyone who needs good, creative, music to inspire them when they are making art. I've just recently discovered Jóhann Jóhannsson, and I just have to say, wow. His music is like the child of Vangelis (Blade Runner soundtrack) and Immediate Music (pretty much every single trailer ever made). I didn't care too much for his album Dis, but all the others have some pretty flippin epic songs. So whether you're creating a huge landscape painting, or piecing together a macaroni sculpture, I would highly recommend going and listening to some of his music!
